From our guesthouse, many nearby tourist attractions of the Franconian wine region can be explored. In the immediate surroundings, you will find a variety of certified hiking trails. Walking enthusiasts will enjoy hills and slopes among the vineyards with routes of varying lengths. The guesthouse is ideally located for cycling tours and motorcycle trips. Discover this beautiful landscape with its unique charm in every season.

Our rooms are located on the 1st and 2nd floors and can only be accessed via stairs.

Lunch package
During your stay, you are welcome to order a lunch package for €8.50. The package includes 2 filled rolls, fruit, a 0.5L soft drink or juice spritzer, and a chocolate bar.
Lunch packages can only be booked directly with us, not via booking platforms.

Your room is available from 3:00 pm on the day of arrival and until 10:00 am on the day of departure.

Common room & guest kitchen
You are also welcome to use our well-equipped guest kitchen in the common room. We follow the principle: “you mess it up, you clean it up” to ensure a clean kitchen for all guests.
Fully automatic coffee machine, a selection of teas, and cold drinks are available for a fee.
Dinner for groups
For groups with a confirmed booking, we are happy to arrange a daily changing set dinner, with a vegetarian option if required, upon prior agreement.

The “Bäckerei Ganz & Söder” offers fresh, handcrafted baked goods from its own bakery. You can find them Tuesday to Saturday from 6:00 am, right opposite the market square.

The nearest shopping options can be found in Iphofen, right at the entrance to the town:

Excursion destinations
The Celtic square enclosure in Willanzheim
locally known as the “Pfaffenburg”, is a well-preserved fortification from the La Tène period (around the 1st century BC) located in the “Großes Mühlholz”.
The square enclosure has sides of approximately 110 meters, 5-meter-wide ramparts, and can be accessed via the Willanzheim cultural trail.
Kirchenburg Museum Mönchsondheim
– the museum of village history in Main Franconia –
Discover what everyday life and work used to be like in a village in Main Franconia.
Reachable on foot through the Breitbach Valley, past old mills, just 3 km away.
Knauf Museum Iphofen
The collection of reliefs from the great cultural epochs of antiquity is unique in Europe.
In addition, there are regularly changing special exhibitions with a variety of themes.

Iphofen is a wine town rich in culture, something you will notice everywhere as you stroll through the charming town and its surrounding vineyards,
The historic old town, with its fully preserved fortifications including gates and towers, offers the perfect opportunity to explore it on foot.
Mainbernheim – Historic margraves’ town
One of the most charming towns in Franconia, which has preserved its medieval character. In the old town, surrounded by a city wall (14th century) with 18 towers and 2 town gates, you can still feel the typical Franconian blend of proud fortitude and small-town coziness.
Wine Paradise
Local hiking trails connect the “Weinparadies” trail with the surrounding wine villages. This allows for attractive day hikes to be planned individually, with opportunities to stop for refreshments and visit additional sights.
A highlight is the Weinparadiesscheune, a restaurant located right on the border between Lower and Middle Franconia, surrounded by forests and vineyards above the hills of Bullenheim and Seinsheim.
The signposted Weinparadies trail is 19 km long and leads through the vineyards of the Franconian Wine Paradise. Numerous hiking huts, informative displays, romantic castles and ruins, as well as impressive viewpoints line the route. The varied trail, running along vineyards, through forests, and across meadows, is attractive in every season.
Würzburg
Cultural and economic center of Main Franconia, home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Prince-Bishops’ Residence.
The Marienberg Fortress is the city’s widely visible landmark and a testament to over 1,000 years of history. Surrounded by vineyards, it overlooks the historic university city with its domes, towers, and bridges.
Würzburg is a city of churches. Up to 60 churches and chapels can be discovered in beautiful Würzburg. Each one more charming than the last, every single one has its own unique character.
